Hi,

Just wanted to share with you my recent findings about getting good quality gear at a decent price.

So... a couple of months ago I realised I needed to change my 7 years old helmet and boots (and pretty much all the rest).

I have "Shoei head" so I tried on some of their helmets and decided to buy Neotec. After some googling I found http://www.helmetcity.co.uk When you go there you will see that with some Shoei models (X-Spirit 2, NXR, GT-Air and Neotec) they offer free TCX X-Tour boots - so I bought my helmet from them and the TCX X-Tour boots sold for £108 on ebay.

Now if you go to pretty much any shop with bike gear here in the UK and want to buy Daytona boots you will notice that the prices are pretty high. I did so and tried on some Daytonas. The best fit was Roadstar GTX, but the price range is £349.99 (J&A Accessories) - £369.95 (pretty much everywhere else), so again after some googling I found http://www.fc-moto.de where I bought my Daytonas for the equevalent of £235.13 (vat and shipping included).

Hope some of you will find these tips useful.

Ride safe!
