Guest Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hi all New to the forum and looking at going through my direct access very soon! I am in the process of finding a school in Gateshead or Newcastle that provides good training and good value. So far I have seen A1motrcycle school - direct access for £370 which includes CBT and 10hrs but I have to pay test fess. Anyone on here learned through them or would recommend them? Failing that other recommendations would be appreciated! Also do you know if they provide kit or would this need to be purchased myself before hand? Thanks in advanceStuart Quote

Jackroutledge92 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Hi I learned with a1 training school just around the corner from the metro centre attached to the car sales place. I have to say I can't fault them one little bit. Brilliant people brilliant tuition and not only that they're a right old laugh! I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed going and doing my lessons with them. They are really friendly and give very good advice and train you to well above the standard required to pass. This was all back in 2012.. I bought myself a cbr600f on Tuesday and the first thing I done was pop in to say hello still the same faces (a family ran business) they will bend over backwards to help you.. They remembered me from 2012.. We had a good bit crack on for an hour or so in their yard and then I left with a massive smile on my face. Really can't recommend them enough! I checked prices for my friend to do his full test. Currently rides a cbf 125 and has cbt.. 600 quid or there abouts to get 14 hours training theory mod 1 and 2 all in a week and a half.. I think that's very reasonableGood luck with your training!Jack Quote
