Im after some help or tips if anyone has worked on one of these jigsaw vans.

Nothing is straight forward and the latest thing im trying to swap out is the master cylinder.

Does anyone know if there is a specific tool to remove the master cylinder from the back of the pedal or is it just tecnique and if its tecnique am i on the right lines with the two plastic tangs on the sides of the pedal?

I have looked online, spoke to vw who didnt want to help, my dad also is myphed. I was just swapping it out as i have replaced the clutch kit, slave and pipes so might as well change this too as the fluids black prob from seals.

Just want to add the t5 and the t4 are totally different in many aspects so downloading a t4 manual wont help, as this was the advice from someone else

Thanks in advance

Sorted.

For refrence if anyone has this in the future, to remove master cyclinder from 2003-2010 transporter t5 heres how you do it and this is the only way unless theres a fancy tool out there.

Undo connection pipe off to the gearbox and the pipe coming from reservior.

From inside the van remove the trim panel under steering wheel, under the gearstick and passenger side under the glovebox,

Leave the two bolts holding the cyclinder to the bulkhead. Remove the read switch from above the pedal, just twist and pull. This is where its a two man job (unless you have the tool) with a long acrewdriver one person go to passenger side and look behind dash towards pedal box and press the white nylon tang 2/3 up the clutch pedal and another person do the same from the drivers side of the pedal, once they are both depressed FULLY pull pedal backwards towards the bumpstop this will release the ball joint and the nylon bush, then remove two bolts and replace in reverse order.
