Hi, this is my first post

My ts50x starts great but for some reason it only runs good on the road when the chokes on, if its off it runs ok for about 3-5 minutes then trys to die when you open the throttle, soon as I put choke back on it runs great, any ideas please.

My other problem is my indicators stopped working, they started blinking slower and dimmer then stopped altogether now (didn't just stop working), battery is fully charged and head light etc work fine.

have you check the condition of the air filter as it might be blocked take the spark plug out and check the colour of the tip it should be a browny colour light tan is to weak black is to rich also as it cuts out and stops open fuel cap and see if it hisses as air rushes in as that will point to tank breather blocked

Try electronic choke, if not take this one out and search for anything suspicious inside the carb, and check if the choke spring works correctly, my bike hates the choke it's always off.
