Ati Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Any tips on adjusting a chinese 50cc carb? What to use or some kind of tutorial.Rpms get stuck, problems with starting the bike, not enough pull from it (amount of air given). Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 what do you mean by rpms get stuck is it revving all the time and not going back to tick over properly if so it could be caused by a number of things from dodgy and damaged throttle cable or several other things Quote
Ati Posted August 29, 2015 Author Posted August 29, 2015 Rpms don't go back, maybe sometimes after a while, but usually stay high, throttle cable is new has been changed few days ago. Quote

eastanglianbiker Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 damn all these helpfull replies ............................when you replaced he throttle cable did you check everything was moving freely on the carb does the cable go into the top of the carb and pull the side up or does it go into a lever on the side of the carb? Adam Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I'd double check the throttle cable as EAB suggested. When you use the throttle does it snap back straight away when you release it? Quote
Ati Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Yes it snaps back and everything is good with the cable, bike only works perfectly fine at night time when I leave the gym.. Than next day, same thing, lesson learnt on chinese. Quote
