I have taken the tank apart ready for painting prep and the petrol float is seriously rusty.


Now, do I;


a) treat with Kurust to prolong its life


b) leave it as it is


c) replace it


Cheapest option preferred I have alreasdy spent far too much for the wife's liking :?

give it a tap if no bits fall off it why mess with it just refit it after all its lasted all these years so i expect there is a few more left in it

 

I will have to give it a brush off EAB. There are some crappy dust like particles at large.


 


Why is "rusty petrol float" making me giggle so much :lol:
