Honda CRF battery won't hold charge

Hi Folks

I would greatly appreciate any advice you have for me on the following issue:

My 2008 Honda CRF 450 X battery won't hold a charge. I have replaced with a new battery and still have the same problem. The battery seems to charge up fine but the bike seems to be putting a big load on it when starting. The bike will start 5 or 6 times and then the battery is flat.

I have measured the voltage with the bike running and its about 13.3V. Is that a bit low? Seem to remember it should be closer to 14V.

I'm thinking it might be the voltage regulator but wondering if anyone else has had similar experience.

it should be ok at 13.3 volts are you taking the bike out for a run each time you start it or just starting it up then turning it off again as it can ake up to 7 miles to get the charge put back into the battery that was used to start the bike even more if you have to keep cranking it a long time to get it fired up,check earths as well as a bad or dirty earth can cause problems and make the starter pull more power to start than normall
