Am planning a run up to DEVILS BRIDGE on Sunday 3rd June if anyone else is going and fancies meeting up? :D 8)

Any ideas where the usual police hotspots are round that neck of the woods, or are they just everywhere? :?

Ooh lions den..Make sure you've your standard plate/can on..Don't go balistic on the long open straights, nice fast unmarked cars on them..Take note if anyone flashs their lights at you, they've almost certainly seen some sort of trap...Still a popular place, but noticeably less so since the police started harrass sorry I mean started their road safety efforts.

Proposed route is via Barnard Castle - Middleton In Teesdale - Alston - Hartside for lunch/coffee/meet Chicane, then along Ullswater & Kirkstone Pass with an ice cream stop/photo opportunity at Windermere, then on to Kirby Lonsdale - make your own way home from there

Look out for marked and unmarked Subaru impreza's. I've seen a marked silver one and an unmarked blue one.

I'd be very careful when thinking about passing cars too. Can't really get away with cars like that following you.

Edit oh and I've seen a marked Skoda Octavia RS in Silver

Silver Octavia haunts the A6 between Kendal and Penrith as does a wineberry red Pan( fave food R1s and Gixxers). I'm meeting up with t'others at Hartside.
