eastanglianbiker Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 yes that has to be metal welded in place there is a proper repair section you can buy for that area i think you will find and its not to expensive and dont forget for the mot as its a repair panel it will need seam welding i doubt if you will be allowed to spot weld it Quote
cockercas Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Yer ive seen a full pannel but it comes right up to the rail for the sliding door.Might have to buy a welder and the pannel and cut the bottom part off and weld it behind the bumper trimThanks Quote
fq-craigus Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 It must be at least 30cm from the suspension mount, seatbelt mount or body mount. It wont fail if its outside prescribed area. It looks like the rust has set in and no doubt not the only area, on the earlier transits you end up chasing your tail so i would asses other areas before you decide to buy a repair panel. Quote
cockercas Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 I will. The rest didnt look to bad to be honest. Quote
