Branbb60 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Hello,My break lever broken so now I've bought a new one. I'm attempting to attach this all up but when I screw the break hose into the master cylinder it appears to just dribble out of the part where it screws into. https://gyazo.com/4d55b9d3ae1c649b3c5c56bacf0accd1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Image above is where it is coming from when the cable is attached. Any suggestions on how I could fix this? Thanks, Brandon. Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 if it is leaking round the banjo then the sealing washers are not sealing and need replacing also check the banjo itself is in good condition make sure it isnt fractured or have a lot of corrosion on it and that both the sides are in good condition Quote
Chrissb6 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Just be sure to fit new sealing washers to both sides of the banjo get the banjo in position and tighten down to the correct torque setting. Most levers and calipers have a location cradle to sit the hose outlet in. Just be sure you get the job done correctly, leaking brake fluid and faulty brakes cut you no slack. Quote
