Guest Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 A good place to start is the 'best biking roads' site.. its not definitive.. but it is worth looking at. just a quick look and snip of the area throws up this: http://i.imgur.com/ZXm9bNwl.pngwhat can be described as a 'best biking road' is purely subjective.. but, sites like this give a foundation that you can explore and branch out from and discover your own favourites.http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcycle-roads/motorbike-rides-in-united-kingdom-/united-kingdom-__134.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Quote
midlifebiker Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 I'm a truck driver by day so have seen quite a lot of the country...thanks for the link, much appreciated pal. Quote
Fozzie Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I know good roads near the Manchester airport tunnels. Will take you towards High Legh, then over to Macclesfield, finishing at the Cat and Fiddle. On a proper day out you can then go on to Matlock Bath by the Via Gellia road. And that is a cracking bit of road. Quote
midlifebiker Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 sounds good to me we could probably go on pedlows at the minute though, when is that orange thing going to come out to play....snow in april?? Quote
NL3044 Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I Live close by but I don't know many roads around that area. I would love to tag along! Quote
