ride out near mcr airport

i passed my test last september so still a novice really. done about 3000 mls...now the weather has turned im up for ride outs if anyone is interested..cheers!

Similar situation to me. Are the roads around there decent, be out all week around Peak District/Manchester

A good place to start is the 'best biking roads' site.. its not definitive.. but it is worth looking at. just a quick look and snip of the area throws up this:

what can be described as a 'best biking road' is purely subjective.. but, sites like this give a foundation that you can explore and branch out from and discover your own favourites.

I know good roads near the Manchester airport tunnels. Will take you towards High Legh, then over to Macclesfield, finishing at the Cat and Fiddle.

On a proper day out you can then go on to Matlock Bath by the Via Gellia road. And that is a cracking bit of road.

sounds good to me we could probably go on pedlows at the minute though, when is that orange thing going to come out to play....snow in april??
