Oh well at least I can tell the mechanics it's not that plug so now no need to take side fairings off.. definitely a fuel tank off job, it's off to the garage on Monday.

Turns out I have the new metal fuel connectors and once you remove them, petrol proceeds to piss everywhere [emoji39]

We think it was a combination of a few loose things, we couldn't find one thing inparticular. Air box wasn't even properly connected and it's missing a breather hose so he thinks it was evaporating oil and then it was condensing in the pipe and running down.

Either way it's stopped [emoji4] got a few little jobs to fix now I know they're there, fitted some new spark plugs whilst I was there.

From the first pic I was going to suggest it was a breather pipe.

My FZ left a few drips of oil roughly where yours has. I checked the oil and it was right on the max mark so I think some made it up the crank case breather and it found its way out.

Just keep an eye on it, mine stopped when I sucked a tiny bit of oil out.

Yea I'll keep checking it religiously for a few more days, after that it'll go back to my once weekly maintenance day [emoji39]

Do you think it's worth buying a 2nd breather pipe for the one that's missing?
