ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Brilliant after sales eh, but any way , you should have 2 pipes coming from the inlet ports to the engine, that should be your Vacuum set-up for the pump could be 2lines and a t junction toward the pump , or at least the 2nd air configuration, does that sound right Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 M8 it's an 04 or 54 plate went test road fuking mint Lil bike pull it back into the side of his house when back to my m8s car got insurance grabed my gear bout 15 mins 20 mins in total got back on fired up got like just out of his street 30 secs an a line jumped off Fule pissed all over was like fuk so pushed it back up see if he had pet can he says Np but his mate was there with a van so though meh feck it can on. ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Could actually be that the Diaphragm in the pump has gone, its only fuel in ,fuel out and the vacuum pipe to operate the flow, so if its been lying about for any length of time the diaphragm could have rotted, sounds like the engine is ok, can you get a replacement pump, or try and test that pump Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Yeah I bout a brand new one pall it's been on bout 2 wks the engine is spot on if I drop some Fule or quick start down she start straight away it's Fule flow that let's us down my major worry is 500 pound carbs I have cleand check them that seem OK like but it's a major thing if it dose come down to that think she's gone for scrap pall just can not afford that lol Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Can you take the pump off the bike, connect it to the tank with the fuel line from the tank, leave the pump to carb line on the pump, get a petrol can to catch any petrol turn on the petrol to see if the petrol runs through the pump, if not, connect an air pipe to the vacuum side of the pump , and suck the pipe ,if the diaphragm is ok fuel will flow through, and the pump is ok, if no fuel flow the pump is knackered Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Had line off from carbs to pump an ducked vac to pump it flowed reconnect it stops flown carbs a full can not drain just saw drain sewers are fuked Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote

ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 But will it start now you have some petrol in the bowls Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Well fule in the bowls but will not start Fule down the carbs it will I put it down to no vac in the carbs but when I reduce air flown by blocking them up that's when she sounds most promising I have check for air leaks there isn't Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Pump is fine also that air 2 has been removed from vac line 1 to pump puting in line with Fule into pump Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Have you got the vacuum pipes connected at the inlets (between the carb and the engine), if they are left open the vacuum will be destroyed Quote

ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Here's how the front and rear vacuum pipes join to the pump , has yours got the other underneath the tank Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 I have nothing under my tank just 2 looped houses 1 to feed petcockSent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote

ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Must say that doesn't even look right, there's not even a petrol cock on it with on/off switch or tank drain, must have got away with the front and back cylinder vac pipes joined to the one vac position on the pump, is that what you have , the two vac pipes joined and in to the pump Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 M8 since I left the bike for those 15 20 mins it seem to turn from a mint runner Tova none runner yeah 2 vac on pump I have tired deviding them have one to back of carbs I tried 2 Fule feeds in I tired that second air all over just will not starSent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
