jc.2guns Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I found the code it was c-00 So flushed system let it run fan kicked in light went off went to work on it 5 mins in f1 back on same code. any ideas or ways to get the flashing f1 off please Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Quote
SlowBusa Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Code -C00 is normal running and means no fault The - (dash mark) in the middle is your TPS (throttle position sensor) if the dash (-) is lower or upper it means TPS is outlike this _C00 ........(no one can find the upper mark on the keyboard )I would leave the diagnostic plug left in while you ride so it shows you the fault code when the FI ligt comes onIt wont do any harm I run my bike with diag plug in permanently as my clock dosnt work Quote
jc.2guns Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 Tar will try that next timeSent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Quote
jc.2guns Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Done what you said and c28 came up checked that out and it's the secondary throttle valve. So next thing if I leave it will it cause major issues or can there be a quick fix Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Quote
SlowBusa Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I've not had to deal with a -C28 error before because my bike Model dosnt have one So unfortunately I can't draw on my experience of it I Am wondering though,How is the bike running? Is it using more fuel?Sorry I cant help more Quote
jc.2guns Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 No. Fuel consumption fine no loss in power no change when idle tick over it's just random lol thanks for feed back Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Quote
SlowBusa Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Your WelcomeCan you post results when you find them?I may be wrong but I think an early gen 1 ZZR1400 mod was to remove them?It would Make sense if your idle "could" get a bit funky? Quote
JRH Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Quite a bit on the web re removal of the secondaries. Quote
jc.2guns Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 Quite a bit on the web re removal of the secondaries.Yeah there good just leaving it for time being fuels ok no drop in power or over revving so once it starts to splutter I will drill it off solder sensor and bolt back on or replace Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Quote
