Slither1987 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Evening all I have what I believe is a ts50 engine which is now in a off road buggy. Bought it for my boy and hadn’t been running for a couple of years. So done the basics cleaned the carb ect it now fires up and will idle. When I rev it up it seems to bog and die or almost die. I fiddled with the air screw for abit and then decided to add a few more bits of sponge in the air filter pipe and it seemed to be able to rev up abit more or tho not perfect the aftermarket air filter that was on there wasn’t the best so bought a little cone filter to see if it made any difference but the same problem occurred. I’m assuming at some point it must have run with the set up it’s got so thinking the jets must be the right size so what else could cause this any help appreciated thanks Quote
