I plan to go and meet some of you at Squires. Will you be carrying a copy of the FT and wearing pink carnations?

However if its lashing down I will give it a miss this time. Having ridden in all weathers as a lad I am now a confirmed FWB:)

We will be quite easy to spot...... Look for the 500 Rossi-Rep CBR. There will be most likely..... A Silver Mille, Blue R6,Green zx6 Amongst others parked there abouts..... Should John 10 be there his Bandit is easy to spot as it got a Unoin Jack on the tank 8)

Anyone else from sheffield fancy meeting up to get to Squires?

reckon it'll take about an hour and 10 mins or so - so if we head off at 8.45 or so?

I'm up in Ecclesall but we could meet in town and go from there -

Thre will be various pace groups on the ride. No need to worry.

There usually is 3 groups. A quicker group. Intermediate and a more steady group.

There will alo be a few stops on the way round to re-group/smoke breaks e.t.c 8)

for this rideout... take a look ... ensures we dont lose anyone and if followed its a very good system.

If theres a group who wants to go at a faster speed, they can decide on the day and do their own thing. This is a meet and a STEADY ride :)

With regard to the above..... It's something like what i had in mind....And adopted before on a ride-out with a few from here.

We will discuss at the starting points who want to ride @ what pace.....

E.g, @ Squires we will have a chat with who is there and i am more than happy to set off as leader, but will stop @ any junctions along the routes until all of the group have passed through. 8)

I just can't wait for this ride..... Even more so after having to wait an extra 2 weeks for it due to our wonderful weather......

Weather forecast looking a bit better for tomorrow, so I hope yas all have a great run. I can personally vouch for the drop-off marker system. We used to use that in the days of MCN and Nodding Dogs rideouts and it worked well. The only comment to add is that it's better to text people rather than ring as many will be on their bikes and unable to answer. A text will let stray riders know where the group is at any given time and where and when the next rendezvous point is...

Anyway, like I said, have a great day tomorrow. Sorry I can't join yas but it's too far from my patch...
