HELP - buckled front wheel

Just took my bike to the local garage for its first MOT.  i got an advisory of the buckled rim on the right and side.  OK ..  i can confirm that i have never had the bike off road or bounced up a kerb at an angle. the bike was in with BMW just 3 weeks ago so they could service it and undertake any warranty work etc.  they never mentioned the wheel.    i am wondering if this is caused because the spokes are tightened too much and over time with heat (Spanish sun, etc)  Anyway, has anybody else had issues with front wheel buckling...     I have about 3 days left on my warranty and i would to be able to say it is a known issue
