ChasXSR Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 (edited) Well, I'm due to take my Mod 2 in Banbury soon. Inevitably, the nerves are kicking in. Whilst, I've seen a few YouTube videos on how to the Mod 2, I've remember the stuff mentioned in the test, in addition to putting into practice the variability of OSMPSL and so on. I'm also aware I'll need to not do something stupid like -Stall -Let the bike fall over somewhere -Not leave my indicator on -Anything else which is silly. I've even been down a few times, riding around on my CG125, to get a feel for the roads. My question is: -Does anyone remember the routes they took around Banbury? A couple of places suggest the narrow streets off Bath Street, but they did seem very narrow even for a test (i.e only car can either way at any time with no space to pull over (parked cars both sides)). -Are there any particularly tricky junctions? I'm aware some of the roundabouts near Hennef Way can be tricky with the lanes, but it's nothing viewing the sign posts in good times can't circumvent, in addition to the multiple exit lanes off Malborough street onto the High Street, However, knowing about more, the better I'm going to say. -I'm aware the Test Centre entrance and exit is tight going onto a narrow(ish) road section, in addition to needing to possibly stop due to a footpath crossing the entrance/exit. Any help with the above will be appreciated :). Edited July 31, 2022 by ChasXSR 1 Quote
Fiddlesticks Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Don't know about Banbury but good luck anyway. I stalled on my MOD2, just out of the test centre. Still passed though. 1 Quote
