Additionally, Kawasaki updated its 300 dual sports, the KLX300 and KLX300SM with new colors and graphics as well as granting both models with an updated LED headlight. 2024 Kawasaki KLX300R ($6,199) The 2024 Kawasaki KLX300R is the flagship model in the KLX off-road lineup. Based on the dual sport variant, the KLX300R is essentially a stripped-down version of the KLX300. Utilizing the same 292cc fuel-injected DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, semi-double-cradle frame, 43mm inverted telescopic fork, and Uni-Trak shock, both models share a nearly identical specs sheet. As seen in other KLX models, the 230R is the stripped-down off-road version of the KLX230 dual sport. Fitted with the same 233cc fuel-injected SOHC single-cylinder engine, six-speed transmission, 32mm Keihin throttle body, and high-tensile-steel box-section perimeter frame, both KLX230 models share many of the same parts.
