Admin Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 Ducati will make five limited-edition replica Panigale models for 2024. (Ducati/)For Ducati the end of 2023 was a time to celebrate. The Italian company joined a short list of brands to win all three rider’s titles in MotoGP, World Superbike, and World Supersport in the same year, and also became the first to win all three of those manufacturer’s titles in the same year. Additionally, it was the first time that Ducati has won the MotoGP rider’s title back to back, and once again accomplished that feat in the World Superbike Championship for the seventh time.Ducati’s 2023 champions (left to right): Álvaro Bautista, the World Superbike champion, Francesco Bagnaia, the MotoGP champion, and Nicolò Bulega, the World Supersport champion. (Ducati/)Ducati recently gathered its teams, riders, and fans for the “Campioni in Festa” event at the Bologna basketball arena where it celebrated not only the winners in each of those racing classes, but also the second- and third-place finishers in the MotoGP series. On stage were MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia, World Superbike champion Álvaro Bautista, World Supersport champion Nicolò Bulega, and MotoGP runner-up Jorge Martín, and Marco Bezzecchi who finished third in the series.Francesco Bagnaia’s replica uses the yellow livery similar to what he raced at his home GP at Misano. (Ducati/)Each of the five Ducati riders was accompanied by a special-edition Ducati Panigale model celebrating their season’s success, with four Panigale V4 S models and a Panigale V2 presented. Each bike was adorned in the colors, graphics, and number plates replicating a version of the bike that the riders used during their respective 2023 campaigns. The limited-edition bikes will be built in numbers that represent each riders’ usual permanent racing number, for example there will be 263 (No. 63) Francesco Bagnaia racing replicas, 219 (No. 19) Alvaro Bautista versions, 189 (No. 89) Jorge Martin, 72 (No. 72) Marco Bezzecchi, and 111 (No. 11) Panigale V2 Nicolò Bulega racing replica models produced. The Jorge Martín version. (Ducati/)Each bike will have the rider’s signature featured on the tank, which is then clear coated for protection. The tank also gets a billet-aluminum filler cap, while the top triple clamp is laser engraved with the version name and then individually numbered. Each model comes with a racing-style solo seat with the rider’s logo. Each bike gets a special matching ignition key, and when turned on the TFT dash comes to life with a dedicated animation.Álvaro Bautista’s replica. Additionally, Ducati has also included Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi editions that utilize their team’s unique liveries.Individually numbered and specially engraved triple clamps.
