Overview

Harley-Davidson’s 2024 trike lineup features three ways (appropriately) to add a third wheel: There’s a cruiser, a bagger, and a full-dress tourer. The Road Glide 3, it hardly bears mentioning, is the bagger of the group. Like its two-wheeled counterpart, the RG3 has a frame-mounted sharknose fairing; a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine producing a claimed 90 hp at 4,750 rpm and 119 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,750 rpm; rider aids, including cornering ABS and traction control; and an infotainment system. For 2024, however, the two-wheeled Glide was given a major overhaul that included, among other things, a more powerful Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, revised styling, and the latest infotainment setup. We’d expect those changes to make their way to the Road Glide 3, but for now, it soldiers on without. Even still, its performance and level of equipment are nothing to sneer at.

Pricing and Variants

The 2024 Road Glide 3 starts at $34,999; the price increases with various paint and trim options.

While the 2024 Glide moved to an all-digital dash, the Road Glide’s previous-gen marriage of digital and analog instrumentation still looks “right” and is functional to boot.
