Hi my son has a pioneer Nevada 125 there is no power the only way it starts is if he kick starts it the engine will run but there no power to anything any ideas please

It sounds very much like there is a battery issue.

If it starts, and there's still no power to the lights or indicators etc, it could be that the battery is disconnected, have you checked?

Also, it could be that there is no charge from the rectifier (with converts the power to charge the battery).

I would also check the main fuse. It's usually located somewhere near the battery.
