Q plated xr400

Hay people just like to say thank you in advance for any help that may be offered.

Now for my  problem that hopefully someone can help with. I have  purchased a q registration xr400 that has clearly been professionally put back on the road at some point because it has new vin plates fixed to the frame and also stamped into swing arm. I received the log book within a couple of weeks but when it came to declaring it SORN I discovered this vehicle has no tax class on the log book. I would like to have this bike road legal so my question is how do I go about getting it taxed thanks once again for any help it's greatly appreciated .

Surely, if you have a V5 as stated, then it has an 11 digit Document reference number (top right). That and other personal info should be all that you need to "tax" online.
