Hiplock dx1000 advice

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice on the hiplock dx1000. I’m new to motorcycles and never driven a motorcycle in my life until April cbt course. Purchased a new Yamaha mt-125 on the 6th May , bike is great. My issue is I’ve been watching way too much YouTube on biking , cornering , safety and security. Some great advice on there for beginners. These are the security I’ve got fitted to the bike and seen on YouTube how quick a grinder can go through them starting to think I should have just bought the hiplock dx1000 from the off , more money laying out just for the peace of mind When locking it up. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with it, ie seizing up etc? Hope everyone well and thanks for any advice . Ps Oxford ground anchor installed aswell

I've got the Oxford alarmed disk locks and a chain similar to the Oxford one in the picture (from Screwfix). The bike survived a night out in Blackpool wearing one of each, if that's any recommendation.

A cheap motion alarm under the seat isn't a bad idea. Amazon do them fir £12.99
