Starting to get annoyed now..

I'm probably just over reacting but HG are being a bit cra p..

I've tried buying a fly screen from them, order was placed last week. about 4 days later i get an email saying that my order is being processed.

then two days later another saying that it has been cancelled because they are out of stock. The email was literally "sorry this item is out of stock"...

I would of expected them to at least offer an alternative product / tell me when it was going to arrive in stock.

Inbetween that one i went down to the local HG and looked at a HJC helmet. They never had a XL in stock but the guy said that 'they are expecting an order within the next week'... I gave him my number and told him to ring. So a week has passed and still no phone call (although i did ring him back on Tuesday but still no idea of when the delivery would get in)..

So i thought i may aswell order off their website.... placed the order and about 4 days later i've got an email saying "Hi, unfortunately your card was not authorised for the above amount so the order has been cancelled."

I dont see how as it was on my credit card (currently zero balance outstanding, oh and you can't use debit cards on their website  )....

I wonder if they're trying to fob me off without saying that a second product is out of stock...

anyone else dis-like their website? am i over reacting?

Sounds flamin annoying mate. I hate when things like that happen.

HG have not been too bad with me I must admit. About a year ago they gave me credit (0% finance) on some goods worth about £225 even though I had no credit rating. (due to never having credit cards to build up a rating). Do you have another dealer near you that you can purchase from ????

theres a few shops close by but I know they dont stock the helmet i want :(

just checking everywhere on the net to see what i can come up with lol...

Thing is - thats two things they could have had a sale on.. obviously times aren't so hard after all...

You would think in the current economic climate that they would get things right, and be on the ball...

Chris lad!

I can't recommend Teasdale's in Thirsk enough!

They're not far from the Boro so have a bimble down there, you might be surprised!

Got most of my gear from there - they are really nice people....especially Amanda!

She helped me with my trousers........oh, that sounds so wrong!

First class service and with a smile, too!

Go on!....give 'em a go!
