Does a screen make a difference?

sorry to hijack this thread

im after a Screen for my bandit 600, thing is though i have dominator lights so needs to fit over them and the cheapest i can find them are £50

£50 for a screen! anyone know of any sites that sell them a bit cheaper?

didn't want to start a new thread so saw this one.

i was thinking about getting a screen for my suzuki gz marauder, but was wondering if it would reduce my top (no sarky comment please) speed.

i'm a big lad and want to use the bike as often as i can until i pass my test. but thought if i add more wind resistance to the bike it would slow it down? or will it help by stopping the wind from hitting me as much?

what are your thoughts.

your body mass acts as an air brake anyway, a screen may act to improve airflow, which may improve your fuel economy but not enough to get excited about,...

Apparently you can't get the YBR sports screen any more, it's discontinued because I wanted one. They do a good selection of screens here Bike screens

I got the Speed Screen as anything bigger looked a bit silly on a YBR. They are very good quality screens and do keep the wind of your body but tend to deflect it onto your head!
