A dodgy appliance could be the culprit. I had a similar issue, and after lots of trial and error, it turned out to be a faulty microwave. Unplug everything and plug them back in one by one to find the troublemaker. Mercure hotel is a solid option. I stayed there last summer, and it had secure parking for the bike, which was a big plus. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s also in a good spot for walking to restaurants and bars after a long ride. The breakfast was decent too, which made for a good start to the day before heading off again.
