  1. Test post!
  2. Was over in Morroco for a few days where 70% of the bikes must be Docker, a Chinese brand that has flooded the market. Anyone can ride a moped over there without a licence and it seems they all buy Docker as a first option so they must have something going for them other than price.
  3. The big three corporations are global.
  4. The dairy sector is doing well at the moment and yet they they are not buying, it's a global thing. We are living in uncertain times, big changes are coming and the uncertainty factor is a major part of the downturn we see in industry generally.
  5. Just as a point of interest, the big three tractor makers have also all announced a decline in sales of around 30% over the last quarter, a quite meaningless coincidence I'm sure!
  6. Thanks for the replies gents. Plenty to think about there!
  7. Would you believe it, we turned north before we reached Rosscarbery, while last weekend we came down to Kilbrittain before turning east, so that's one section of the WAW we need to fill in! Beautiful part of the world the west coast of Ireland!
  8. Cheers! It does happen occasionally! Took the beast over the Dunloe Gap yesterday then down around Kenmare, Bantry and Skibbereen before heading back Via Macroom. |Brilliant days biking on dry roads and the sun was with us all the way. It'll be another blue moon or two before it happens again!
  9. Haven't read the whole forum but might this have something to do with the move to ban the sale of ICE powered bikes in 2030? A quite authoritarian move that.... No, best not start me on the great climate change hoax. Anyway, why bother getting into bikes, or carrying on with them, when you'll have the fun taken right out of them in the next few years is the question that many might be asking.
  10. We recently purchased a Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200, 2012 model. Two up and the suspension feels soft, it's not as sharp coming out of bends as I would like, it just doesn't pick it self up as I think it ought. (tyre profile is good) No problem I thought, I'll adjust the preload via the knob that sticks out on the right hand side, except that it is seized solid, it just won't turn and I don't want to start getting grips to it for fear of something snapping. Any ideas what could cause this?
  11. Hi there! Based out in sunny Ireland (it was today, honest!) with a Tiger Explorer shared with the good lady, interested in touring and general bike chat!
