  1. So actually ended up getting my CBT booked for tomorrow. I know a little bit about bikes mainly from you tube videos but i take everything they say with a pinch of salt. My budget erm that's a good question to be honest I'm doing this a lot sooner than expected. so I don't have anything saved up. so it's a case of how much I feel comfortable doing on finance. I am looking at the Honda CBF 125. Seems like a nice good bike. I would say I have an okay knowledge of the highway code. Never really read the book but just things I've picked up from day to day when getting lifts around. done a few online test things didn't do to badly on them lol
  2. Hi. As some of you know got my CBT tomorrow if the weather is anything like it was today (raining) what tips do you have for me? never ridden before. haven't actually driven a car either lol
  3. well done and good luck, would have suggest phoenix in maidstone ... but as your sorted np.... Maidstone would have been a bit of a nightmare to get to for me lol. but thank you anyway! so excited never imagined this when i woke up this morning. Not when I was 1st told by the 1st place I phoned only courses they have are in Feb! 1st time Riding for me so it's going to be interesting. Anyone got a tips for a new rider?
  4. Thanks guys. Managed to get though to Channel riders CBT booked for tomorrow!!!!! never expected that. (Fair warning you may want to stay off the road around the Folkestone area tomorrow) Can't wait. next I've just got to work out what bike etc to get lol I'm looking at possibly the Honda CBR-125R http://www.kent-motorcycles.co.uk/CurrentOffers/CBR125R Or http://www.kent-motorcycles.co.uk/CurrentOffers/cbf125 <-- I like the look of this bike more, it's not trying to be something it's not. and it's cheaper!
  5. Hi. So I am phoning around trying to book my CBT as soon as possible. I have found a place called Dexterity in Ashford who is doing a CBT on Wednesday. So far that's the closest date. their website: http://www.dexteritytraining.co.uk/cbt.htm Has anyone here used them before? would you use them judging on their website? I also looked at http://www.kent-motorcycles.co.uk/TrainingSchool but they don't have a spot until Feb! And http://www.motorcycletrainingkent.com/index.html My Brother in-law did his with them. But I can't seem to get though to them.
  6. Got my Provisional Licence today. So Happy. I've emailed one of my Local centers to book my CBT for next Wednesday just waiting for them to confirm (probably get an email in the morning). Just got to start looking at bikes. Having real trouble deciding what bike to go for lol. I like the ones with the digital speedo, Think they look cool lol.
  7. Merry Christmas everyone have a good one! I got all I "really" wanted, more than enough Money to do my CBT, and My provisional already to send off after Christmas.
  8. Yeah I did think that myself when watching the video most of the "crashes" looked to be driver error, and I don't even drive yet lol glad you guys enjoyed the video.
  9. "> It's only the 1st few secs of the video (video should start at 22mins 25 sec) don't worry about watching the other 40mins odd lol As for the bike/ biker could have been a worse outcome
