As a few of you are aware I'm restoring a Yamaha TZR-50.... Which is proving to be a MASSIVE pain in the ass.... However after my last problem with the starter (which I have fixed) I have now found out that the bike WILL NOT reach 5000RPM in first gear...meaning it's pretty much useless... I've cleaned the carb, checked the fuel line... done whatever I can... I was just curious if the chain would have an effect on it? ~Jordan

As a few of you are aware, I've been restoring a Yamaha TZR-50 2003. I recently discovered that the whole wiring loom needed replacing, so I did so. I then decided to replace the starter motor and the battery. My main problem is that the starter won't even turn when under power. The starter relay just clicks. However, it seems to be a VERY intermittent fault as it works every so often... I've checked the earth, connections, everything I can think of!! It's really starting to get on my nerves. If someone could offer any advice on what needs doing, PLEASE COMMENT!! This project is starting to get on my nerves as I've been doing it since this time last year... Thanks in advance <33

I am restoring a 2003 TZR 50 , and I am nearly complete. I am looking for some FRONT pegs (let & rght) and I was wondering if R1, R3 or R6 (possibly even YZF-125) pegs would fit? I have done some research, and the TZ IS based on the R-Series... Just wanted to know as it's near impossible for me to find ACTUAL front pegs for it... All suggestions welcome <33

I have looked every where I can. I have found a wiring loom, and now I need the front pegs. I cannot stress enough that I DON'T need pillion pegs...If I come across anything else that I require, I'll let you know, but PLEASE if you could link me to some: YAMAHA TZR 50 2003 FRONT PEGS!!!!
