  1. It probably is just an abs sensor. 100k seems quite low for the age. Is it petrol or diesel? For £200 I personally would go for it and if you can't get it mot'd on the cheap I'm sure you would get your money back or possibly even sell it for £300. Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  2. I'm only on the road a couple of weeks too. I'm still a bit wobbly at very low speed and gradually gaining confidence in bends. Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  3. I have 2x 128GB SSD's in raid 0 for my boot drive and games with a 2TB WD Black HDD for media files and such and a 320GB HDD for the very little stuff I need to keep backed up on my PC[emoji14] Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  4. I'd get a laptop with a 1tb HDD and throw in a 256gb ssd in for a boot drive Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk

  6. I'm in the same boat mate but it's all good fun I don't think he was talking about the roads being damp[emoji14] Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk
  7. I was just curious, wouldn't use anything other that a clear Visor as I ride home from work in the dark.
  8. Definitely needed to after that spin I tell ya[emoji14]in other news, was a cracking day today on the bike
  9. That's what I was doing the whole way around the bend. Only been on the road a week so I'm not the most experienced rider out there.
  10. Ahh no I'm not worrying (anymore ) but just for future reference. So don't brake in oil, thanks
  11. So I had a bit of a close one yesterday on my way to work. I was doing 60mph around a left hand bend that turns into a right hand bend that I take at 40mph. As I'm coming out of the left hand bend I see an unavoidable oil spill where I would straighten up and slow brake just before the right hand bend. I instantly let off the throttle but was still doing 50mph round the bend in heavy wind and rain. I struggled a little to get it around the bend with the wind but thankfully I brought it around safely. Should I have used the brakes going through the oil spill or did I do the right thing?
  12. I think it was because it was a live show and they had to go on an ad break.
  13. Going to pull it apart tomorrow and see how the contacts are. Thanks for the info everyone.
  14. Yeah it all looks standard. I'm going to have a look in the morning, I've been using my rear brake slightly just to light up the brake light.
  15. Just realised tonight that I have to pull my front brake fully in before my brake light comes on. I'm assuming this is a fault as it seems dangerous to me. Is the switch located in the lever or elsewhere? It's an 06 YBR125. Thanks.
  16. Yeah I don't know of any dynos near me. I'm just going to leave it while it's running sweet and just put up with the lack of power for now.
  17. Oh really? The way people go on about carbs I thought they were impossible to work on without special tools. I've done plenty of engine work on cars before so I'm sure a bike should be no problem.
  18. I could fit the kit but have never messed with carbs before so I will probably leave it. Thanks for the advice everyone.
  19. Went out the other morning and my cover was unclipped at the bottom and the bike was soaked even though it was still fully covered? It was strange.
  20. Yeah I could do all that handy enough.
  21. Yeah I will be staying legal. Thanks for the heads up. If it was just a bolt on mod I would go for it but I wouldn't know how to adjust my carb to suit it.
