You had to pay for fuel! Where you training with Motag as they do that! I heard that was somthing only they did, they where also angry with me on my CBT. I changed to a less comersial school and found it to be much better. G

lol no, I drove really slow tbh. Felt the pwr and respected it!

I just done my test on a 500 and didnt go over 50mph at anytime so shouldnt be to tough (I did get to minors for being to slow tho My 125 is slow compared to your 125 and I can hit 60 as long a I thrash it.

W00t! Im a biker! no more L plates now I drove awefull on my test this time and passed My Instructor let me drive the 650 Yamaha back from the test centre and even took me on the moterway. Was an awesome bike. I asked him when I got on the bike if I should be aware of anything, he said "It wheelies in 1st 2nd and 3rd" lol

The two minors where for Clearance/obstructions. This is why I'm worried, some say I should of stopped and some say I should of gone through much much slower

Hi all, I got my mod 2 booked for tomrrow afternoon and I hope to god I pass it this time, it isnt cheap getting a full license! I failed the first time with just 2 minors but one of which was considered a major. Been driving a good while now and life savers and such come fairly easy, BUT! This is how I failed (wondering what you all thought) My drive was smooth but at one point I passed a Tescos home delivery van which had its back doors open. The van was parked so that id have to cross the white line if I was to give the normal distance from its doors. The trafiice was flowing towards me with no sign of giving up so I dropped from 30 to 15 and went past as close to the white line as I could without being to close to the oncoming traffic. As I went past ofc I gave great attention to the van and any ppl who may step out. Then mirror checks, LS and back to 30. Well thats a major. Worse thing is I had to ask the examiner why id failed! What I havent worked out is how I should of got past the van. Was a bit upset tbh to go into more detail and I will ask my training school tomorrow ofc. I think what he wanted was for me to stop, wait for a gap in the oncoming traffic and pass on the other side of the road. Well any help will be apreciated.

I did my mod 1 last week, No qestions at all until mod 2. (and there easy) The video is a little silly when it says 50kph and shes on a ped but it does say on the DSA website that peds do that manuvour at a much slower speed.

Yeah I made a new thread. Silly me I did my mod 1 Tuesday the 2nd of June and passed with no minors. I had a really good ride out Mod 2 and the swine failed me with 2 minors one major! I'm 99% sure he was just in a really bad mood and wanted to fail me! I booked mod 2 for the 15th. I need my new bike! the 125 just isnt enough any more Thanks for asking tho m8

Hi all, I arrived this morning to take my mod 1 test and passed with no minors or problems. I got 51kph on the dreaded swerve. Well There are two examiners and me and the lad id been riding with all day had "Mr DSA" there quote! for the mod 2 in the afternoon. He was really misrable and gave the lad I was with 14 minors and ofc failed him. This scared the crap out of me as I knew the lad drove well. I went out and in my mind made very little mistakes and was very pleased with my run out! I was a little sad when he gave me 4 minors and then failed me! ARSE! I had to ask him why id failed as he wasnt going to tell me. He said I didnt give enough room to obsticals and parked cars which to me made no sence. If its a park car or any obsruction where possible I ride next to the centre white line, couldn't go any further out. Well I've booked my 2nd test for the 15th of this month and hopefully next time will be the winner.

I have taken of my back wheel and ive replaced the shoes and adjusetd my chain but one job ive not tackled yet is to take off and clean up my front brake! The owners manual is compleatly usless when it comes to info regarding my front break! Now I know when I take it off I'm not supposed to touch the front break or ill cause myself a lot of issues but can anyone advice on a couple of things I can see two nuts that will release the front brake from my bike and the disc, BUT do I remove the nut that seems to connect the braking mechanisam from the hydrolic pype? Can't imagine that going well but id like to remove it 100% so I can give it a dam good clean! Any advice would be appreciated. Going to tackle this in an hour or two if poss. I booked my Mod one before id done my Theory. You just need to be able to give the DSA ur theory pass number 3 days before u take ur mod one.

Its black with oxford heated grips and a decent size back box which just snapes on and off. The heated grips are just awesome in the cold!

If I pass my test next Tuesday ill be selling my Sym XS 125 with 2 years warrenty on it. I hope to get 750/800 for it if poss. I may be dreaming but it was 1500 12 months ago. It never lets me down and I'm certainly no racer.

They told my that the reason for ending the test was cause of a grove in the tarmac but they didnt turn around ppl who where going after me. I think the cancled it on me so that they could catch up time wize! When I got home I called the bike school an they did tell me that they wouldn't charge me for the day and I've booked my mod1 and 2 for next Tuesday. Just hope I dont fail mod one or ill loose £70. Going to ring the test centre tomorrow and see if they will allow me a l8 cancalation (my spelling sucks, srry about that) if I do fail part one.

Well I wasn't as nervous as I thought id be when I got to the test centre, was doing all the moves on a quiet road near the test center with no issue. I was with a young lady who had her test just before mine. She did all her test with no issue and looked like a sure pass and then came the emergancy stop! She was going easy 35mph when the examiner put his hand up and she locked up the front wheel and well u can imagine what happened next. I felt for her big time, it was a nasty crash in my eyes and she didnt move an inch till the ambulance arrived. Well to cut a long story short they cancled my test and sent me on my way. Main thing is she was going to be okay. From the reports shes broken her leg and her wrist in the crash so I have nothing to complain about! Well next time!
