  1. Last year I've paid £499 for 4 day DAS course, 3day training and 1day mod1 and mod2

retest prices..., hmm can't even remeber, my aim was to pass didn't even thought what if i fail modules on exam.

So to me, your quotes seems a bit expencive but I gues it just depends where you live. Try to shop around see if prices mathc at other bike shools.

when I did my test 9 years ago it cost me £450

I remeber my first CBT I did , I paid £120 second, £100 and now they doing it for £99, so I don't know..., work that inflation out lol

And yes I did it twice  just din't fell that I need a biger bike at that time :)

  2. it all went well :) lukcy there were one space left for me in parking bay

Soton to London furthest trip for me so far, one stop at fleet services bouth ways to stretch my long legs and give a rest to bum cheaks

used this site, to plan where to park http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/bessborough_gardens/

it alsow shows motorcicle bays, so look for few in area youre going to

you can use this app to pay for parking https://paybyphone.co.uk/mobile-apps/

to use it, need to register first

  3. Joeman, do you text it or something for it to report back its position ? I'm interested in getting one of these. Ta

Something like that yes, instructions are really bad Chinese/English translation and ive only flicked through them quickly, but im planning to buy a sim card for it tomorrow and give it a try. There's also a web site that lets you see the location on a nice Google map and logs where the vehicle has been. you can then download the log, give you milage reports and a bunch of other location reports - It all looks pretty good, but no use without SIM card!!

Only cost £4.19 + £7.99 P&P so worth a punt - Will keep you posted when i get it working!

    Hi,

can you pm me website, and ebay link on this :)

  4. Neat Fairy Liquid.

Put a small drop on some soft tissue paper, wipe it into the visor until it's clear (ie not streaky) works for a week or 2 then you'll need to re-apply.

It's not perfect but it works, or rather it has worked for me the past 2 winters!

    Can't hurt to try :)

    as asharin

I use Fairy Liquid, or any other washing up liquid, best and cheapest anty fog solution , beats anything on market

use to have pinlock insert but after 4-5 month it started foging, so had to rip it of and binit

  5. well it sounds like you are putting right oil in right places if oil level on gearbox dipstick keeps dropping you have a leak somewhere or if it is to far up the dipstick you have to much in there

yep u right , all sorted now

i was putting in way too much oil in gearbox, and it leaked, splashed everywhere, i thought gasket packedup, but after u sugested it can be two stroke oil, i realised i'm having a blonde moment

so drained oil from gbox, added 800mil of oil, topped up two stroke oil, and now all good

    thanx again guys

  6. are you putting oil into a tank away from the engine and what oil are you puting in it or putting it into the gearbox itself

i got engine oil tank, which is for two stroke oil ( 2T )

I'm putting in gearbox oil, for scooters and bikes, bought in halfords, putting that in gearbox true oil dipstick hole mate

is it big diferents from 'gearbox oil for motobikes and scooters' from 'manual gbox and differential oil'?

  7. Hi,

few month ago red light started lighting up on whilst riding, so I thought well I need to top up oil in gearbox, came back home, topped up, dont know how much i added but prob too much, but any way light stoped to be on whilst riding.

yesterday again light started blinking, again added some oil, probably again too much , but the thing is light still on when in gear and when riding

    any sugestions welcome

    thanx

  8. Well , I'm driving cagiva planet, and today oil bulb started flashing .

I think I need to top up oil to engine transmition , but got no idea what tipe of oil should I buy ,

hellp needed on what tipe oil should I buy , is any from halfords good ?

  9. Then cancelled it! The guy rang me up and told me that as I'd never ridden a geared bike before it would take me 3 days to learn and an additional £125. Twelve long minutes on the phone later and he said he would "try and refund my money". Wasn't impressed to say the least.

Booked with a different school for friday now, £105 and the guy on the phone said it would be entirely possibly to learn within a day, if I made a hash of it he said i'd be able to do additional riding at no further cost :)

3 days "bull sh**" I did my cbt on geared bike , all training tok about 2 hr's + few brakes , and there shouldn't be an aditional fee for geared bike
