  1. good good
  2. shame but thats chinease bike build quality for you sadly great on the theory pass! get tests done and get rid and buy a bigger bike
  3. not cost effective but.... buy aftermarket ones?? btw you owe my pictures of the work youve put into the bike!!
  4. this sounds fun... anyone got a spare seat from teeside area???
  5. thanks eab will get them then, hopefully on the orad soon :D:D:D
  6. hey, ive found some decent carbs from a 1993 kawasaki GPX 600 to put on my 1989 kawasaki GPX 600... now i would like to know if anyone knew if these would fit on my bike as i dont know if there were any changes between these dates to the bike i have searched but to no avail sorry to pester you guys and girls
  7. daytona! its sooo sexy!!!
  8. the can vary alot sadly, so your best bet would be to try some on but considering thats an online shop not very helpfull lol i bought mine off a website at a size 12... theyre more like a very small 10 but hopefully they will give abit lol do they have a size guide?
  9. You do some theory on the morning before you get on the bike, its to teach you things like roadsigns, posistioning when taking roundabouts ect. doesnt realy go into alot of depth so id advise you to get a highway code book and have a read 140miles!!! WHERE DO YOU LIVEE!!!! is their not a CBT centre closer??
  10. no idea but they couldve messed up/cut a wire... i wouldnt touch it yourself as it might "void" the warrenty and it gives them an excuse not to solve the problem, take it back to the dealer
  11. to me that looks like a manufacture weld (looks too good to be done otherwise) but anyway i think a garage(or someone) would make a link pipe for you but it'll be expensive, but still less than buying anouther exhaust lol
  12. i dont completely understand what you mean but i think you'll need to grind the linkpipe off (if thats possible im not sure) and get a link pipe that both fits your downpipes and the exhaust??? someone correct me if im wrong please if not its possible you'll need new downpipes
  13. no problem keep us updated and get some pics, before and after cleaning
  14. good tip for removing rust on wheels a i got alot of it on my old bike with it being chrome and using it in winter (dont buy a bike with chrome on lol, too much work!) anyway: spray WD40 onto the rust, absalutely lather them! leave it for about 20 mins to soak in use one of those green soft scourer pads and scrub away! wash vigerously with water to remove as many traces of WD40 you can from wheels and tyres (could even presure wash them) they should come up good as new! also invest in some chrome protector stuff, i think it should be ok on stainless steel wheels, which i think yours might be but read the label first it will stop them from rusting again hopefully lol!
  15. hmm not sure on the flooding bit, cant see why it would... i used to have a trails bike and used to jet wash that and no flooding whatsoever the muck-off stuf realy is a god send, but i also found WD40 a good and cheaper alternative... just DO NOT get that stuff on your tyres or brakes lol
  16. if thats yours in your avatar (the dirtbike) i dont see any problem with jet washing it, but beware paint may stips if it is too high powerd! you have been warned! a good product to use are muc-off degreaser, works wonders on engines and inbetween the swingarm, makes them look like new! just follow instructions on bottle as i cant remember them. just as a general clean, this is what i do: wask with warm water and car/motorbike soap wash with warm clean water to remove suds dry with a towel (letting it dry on its own will leave marks, but will come off in polishing) polish bike with auto glym arosol polish (spray onto a rag and buff away, doesnt leve any residue) and your done i roughly only wash my bike every month in the summer, but in winter its best to do a quick hose down everyday due to salt on the road. hope this helps
  17. i have a tank bag and some panniers (soft luggage) they are great! although mine arnt very big you can get some realy big ones out there! i think i can still get a pillion on with my panniers on but never tryed, but i dont think you would be able to with a tail pack as they usually take up the passanger seat. hope this helps
  18. could you be more specific? if your wanting to know how you can ride a 50cc legally this is how: make sure your at least 16 years of age make sure you have your provisional licence Book a CBT (compulsary basic training) *here you could go out and buy some gear such as helmet, jacket, trousers, gloves boots* Go to said CBT on the date *take: full provisional licence, money, and any gear you have* Do CBT and pass (hopefully) Get yourself a 50cc ped or bike get insurance, tax and mot RIDE!!!!! Alos pop into newbies and say hi
  19. Your best bet would be to pop into your local mototcycle shop and try on helmets, yeh its all good looking at a nice helmet with its lovely graphics but it might not fit your head as it should because all heads and helmets are different you dont even have to buy one there either, i went to one near me tried on some helmets and bought the one i wanted and fit best off the internet and saved lots of ££££££ but some people here might not agree on internet buys as to you dont know if they get damaged in transport but my theory is that it got delivered to the shop like that so it could have been damaged there anyway! and god knows if the saterday boy has dropped your box and not told the boss!? so you see what im getting at
  20. yeh, sorry i missed you guys, had a fun weekend though
