ok so there is the belt and the front end is connected to a drum thing which is connected to the engine, it is pretty much just the thing that turns the belt from the engine. there is a small washer that seperates the two sides of the drum and when it is removed it increases the speed. i was wondering if anyone knew how it worked

Hey i saw somewhere that you can derestict a moped simply by taking out a washer from the thing that connects to the belt, does anyone know how this works and how a tiny washer can affect the speed so much?

Yeah is it above me but it is fairly far away,you could do it in a day. The roads are mostly single track with lots of turns and hills and stuff. Lots of good places for photos, lots of tourists come up for the wildlife and stuff. Also there is a rally in october

i live on the isle of mull, the nearest CBT place is like 100 miles away but i am buying a moped and driving it back up, there was one in oban near to me but it closed down there are pratically no motorbikes up here anyway

Is there a theroy side in the CBT, i have been looking online and i'm not sure whever there is or not. My CBT is on Tuesday then my first ride on the road is 140miles back on a moped :D

it makes the noice whislt up aswell, the last guy used the kickstart as a footstand :S, yeah i will bunjie it up

I have been working on a bike i got for free and i got it started, but after a while i could only get it to bump start and the kickstart wasnt working well. Now when i go along, the kickstart makes a funny noice that sounds like when you kickstart a running bike, i only ride it around the farm as a summer project but i was wondering how to stop the noice or if there is anyway to disable the kickstart, it is a Honda CG125. Thanks Also can you weld on the bike with petrol in the tank or will it explode
