I own a KSR moto TW 125, brought it second hand from a neglectful owner. All I can say is they are excellent bikes! Nothing like your standard Chinese tat. Yes, you are correct - the parts are made in China, but you'll find a lot of "brands" are made in china too. The difference between the KSR moto bikes and fully Chinese brands is the standards they are produced at. KSR moto bikes are produced to "Quality Austria", European standards, and ISO standards there is all the documentation to prove it. I perform a lot of servicing on my own bikes and KSR is a joy to work on - they're well thought out and everything comes apart and goes back together nicely. The fasteners (bolts etc) are all made to standard and quality control is good. Sheered bolts and things like that just aren't a problem. The service manual is extensive and well written. What I would say though is because it is a small brand, part availability is not good on the open market. You'll need a dealer hookup, or to be in contact with the UK distributor (if anybody wants I can put you in contact). What I suggest for most people is to stick to a specialist dealer and you'll have no problems at all. KSR moto is really trying to prove itself self so will honor warranties at the drop of a hat. An acquaintance of mine kept crashing his bike, yet still got it repaired under warranty for all of his crashes - that's how far they'll go. So I highly recommend KSR moto. They deserve more credit, it's hard to break through as a new guy in such a difficult market. Excellent value for money.
