Nope! Sorted now thanks to a mate, we found a broken wire in the loom that goes under the tank, so joined together and it works better than before! Me fuse holder needs replacing though by the battery as its corroded to hell!!

Well am stuck again. Wouldn't start this morning. Got it going but stuttering and cutting out in 1st and 2nd but better in 3rd and 4th??? And yes it's on proper tank with a full tank of juice!

yeah, i got that now i think lol i didnt even realise it had a reserve doofer, but now i do, i will be getting it sorted

ok, mine is probably the same then lol, so need to figure this out lol, but then effectively could leave it on reserve all the time and just run it, but i dont think i will as i will want some warning and some ability to get to a fuel station lmao

this was on reserve for some reason, but i now know so i can make it run lol only problem i have now is finding out if the reserve tank auto fills or if there is a switch or sommat lol

home now lol, would appear i am a bit of a tool! it had run out of petrol just outside the petrol station, but had gone onto the reserve tank (am used to driving a car so didnt realise there was a switch). battery isnt the best, so going to give it a charge, as we jump started it off a land rover, and after about 30 seconds and switching the tap to the right place it fired into life lol thanks for the help!

Went through a puddle (slowly) about a mile back and then the bike just stuttered and stopped. Currently at the side of the road! Help pleeeeeeease lol

Am i right in thinking that to bump start a bike its the same as a car, i.e. 2nd gear, clutch out with a small ammount of power and then obviously move lol

Well have just gotten in from mine, and am pleased to say i passed with ease! The day started with the usual, licence checks and eyesight test. Then we moved onto the talk about gear, for which i was used as an example as i was the only one will the full kit! lol Then the checks over the bike, and move into the playground with the bikes. I was called on to demonstrate everything as i seemed to pick everything up first time and was the only person he didnt have to give attention to! Then the road ride, got seperated from the instructor whilst in town, but was fine and just carried on and caught up with the instructor! He offered me the ride on his 500cc, but i refused as i wanted to learn on the 125 before doing anything bigger! All in all it was a fantastic day and the tuition was brilliant, would highly recommend Top Gear in Ulverston!

Just got home and passed! Going to do me write up on the experiences thread now! It wasnt raining but was a bit chilly, but i breezed it!

Well, its less than 12 hours to go and the nerves are starting to set in! Have read through the CBT experiences sticky at the top of this forum! Got to have a couple of hours on a bike in a car park last weekend with a friend and was getting the hang of things quite quickly, but still doesnt stop the nerves!
