  1. If you are going to do a CBT then why do it on a ped,why not simply go for the geared and get it over with, then on your 17th you can ride your 125.
  2. I did exactly the same as you Nick,i`m 48 and did my cbt five or six weeks ago. But my license is the newer, two part license.I think you need to update your license because you need the card part as well as the paper work. The card will have you picture on it which itself has to be updated every ten years at around £20-£25. I may be wrong but i would have thought that your old license would be redundant and obsolete but not too sure about this. And i fully agree with you regarding that EVERYONE should do the cbt regardless whether they ride a bike or not.
  3. Cheers.I was cross eyed when i had done.
  4. Just got back from my theory test and passed. 44 out of 50 for the theory 62 out of 75 for the hazard perception It was like sitting in a morgue in the test room, you could`nt even fart without someone noticing. Now to update my photo on my license which expires at the end of this month.
  5. Its a niggly point isn't it,surely if nothing is coming you should be able to carry on but as it is a test you need to stop. Bloody test`s,i hate the things.A far better way would be to assess a rider on merit by his examiner, test`s make people nervous,me included. I have yet to do mine so its a lesson well learnt i suppose.
  6. Suffered mate. Those stop signs are a bitch are`nt they,it is so easy to slow down then carry on if nothing is there, but the sign says STOP.Easily done and as a car driver for 30 years i still do it. Good luck next time.
  7. Good luck mate. I know all about bad backs,i have suffered from them for years,i have a twinge right now but nothing major. But when it goes it goes big time.
  8. Typical bank holiday weather, absolutely tipping down.
  9. A shoe shop wouldnt create a fuss if you walked in with shoes on would they,so don your boots and buy what suits and fits you.Its your money,it spends anywhere.
  10. Congrats Lynn,well done.
  11. I have just done a quick online test,i clicked about 5 times per video and i scored 29 out of 50,or 58% i think it was. Would 5 clicks be enough do you think or am i being over cautious with the mouse.?
  12. I`m about to sit mine next week. I have done a trial hazard test online and like everyone else wasn't sure when to click and how many times.I saw ten videos altogether, each lasting about a minute. So roughly how many clicks would be deemed correct, and do you click when you see a hazard, when you approach the hazard or when you on top of the hazard? Anyways, well done on passing.
  13. Congrats that man, have a drink on me.
  14. Nice feeling isnt it.I only did mine last week so i know all too well. Well done mate.
