Cautionary note; I bought it for my girlfriend and I tried it out and found that if you are riding a sports bike and have a riding posture to suit there is real problem with the field of vision offered, fine with your head up but once u dip all you can see is the top rim of the lid and vision seriously impared when cornering. BUT like I say, if you gunna be riding a sit up bike they are a decent cheap n chearful helmet and quite comfy too. On a personal note I always think that pissing around with extra visor thing whilst riding can only lead to a forced park into the back of a tractor.

Bought this little CBR600 FJ I bought last summer for a bit of daftness, swapped it for an MG lol. The colour scheme did grow on me...honest, sold it to a guy in Scunthorpe, anyone seen it around?

no plug is 100% safe but remeber that the plug will be pushing itself tighter as the tyre gets pressurised. Ive had a few done myself and I have one in my back tyre right now, I aint throwing away £120 for nothin' however you may find that some people wont repair because they dont want their name to it incase it goes Pete Tong, fair enough I say but as most posters have said, there are people out there who will do it. The way you describe the nail position I would have no hesitation about a plug but its all about choice, if you cute enough you could always plug it and sell it to offset cost of a new tyre
