Guest Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Hi,I've just got into biking after driving for 14 years. As a little practice machine after passing my CBT and before the real test, I purchased a 1980 Honda CB100n from ebay for little over £200. It's got around 20k on the clock but runs pretty well except.. It has the habit of cutting out after about 15mins riding, and the only way to get the 'beast' started again is leave it for 5 mins and kick it again. Unfortunately it's a little intermittent as some times she'll complete a journey with no problem, and other times she'll cut out 2-3 times. I don't really want to spend a lot of cash on her, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what could cause the problem. I've no idea about her history re: service and I've owned her for about 2 weeks. Many thanks for your helpChris Quote
