9.30/10 am is good for me. Say 10am in Sawtry and you others arrange to meet up before heading that way? Trying to think of a place to stop for a cuppa, maybe make a detour to marina afterwards?

Right, meet in Sawtry at 10.00am, (Sam, Dave, where`s best) Others, meet at marina at say 9.30am and set off just after that.

I'd go for that lay-by on A1(M) Junction 15 southbound exit, north of Sawtry and just after St Peter's Cemetary.... I think you know the one! the sawtry glatton road aint great to start with, so best go up the old A1.

I presume myself and Sam will be at rendevouz point in Sawtry from 10.30 onwards. having said that, I could therefore fit some rowing in in the morning, 10.30 at marina would be good for me. Then not just a cuppa, but lunch at marina afterwards.

Weather's looking ok thus far (slight chance of drizzle). but its gonna be COLD!! i've not ventured out on bike in a couple of weeks, i think it'll hit me fairly hard (or coldly).
