Problem with my TGB 125cc

when the bike is ticking over there is a knocking noise in the engine could anybody please tell me what this is? - manages to start first time.

I don't acctually know to be completly honest all i think its just 'TGB 303R Lazer 125cc' i am not sure what year

depends on the knocking noise..

pinking/knocking - preignition, faulty ignition or excessive carbon build up

whistling/wheezing - leaking manifold(exhaust) leaking vaccum hose, or leaking cylinder

tapping/rattling,- worn valve gear or camshaft, or ancillary part water pump, alternator..

knocking/thumping - worn big end bearing, regular heavy knocking less under load.

rumbling/knockin worn main bearing worsening under load..

piston slap - worse when cold.

thanks. i shall investigate and not sure what im gonna do lol hard to get parts for this bike wemoto only do the haynes manual and brake pads lol im sure ill find em.

try and find the knocking, could be something outside of the engine, one of the guys on here, hunted high and low to find an exhaust clamp was rattling...
