I did do a trackday, but I was being silly.

If you learn from my mistake and just take it easy you'll be fine, treat it no different to a fast road ride, you don't have to be bouncing off the limiter all the time.

oh and my wrist is pretty much all patched up :thumb:

fooking quality day was had, nto a very good start when we found the fork pinch bolt was rounded off so couldnt fit the wets had to do the day on racetecs

well me and my bro swapped bikes after each session, the k1 had wets on

only 4 sessions managed, packed up and called it a day before the last as i was pushing a bit with the dry line and thought id prob push a little too hard and bin it. not a good idea chasing a gixxer 1000 with wets on when i aint

anyway, 1 proper close call. coming out of foulstons must of hit the white line and nearly high sided it. proper thrown out of seat job   managed to stay upright and slowed down a fair bit for the remainder few laps.

absolutely loved the bikes, soooo much fun to ride sooo much faster than the sv. guy from TDR forum had a k4/5 600 and couldnt keep up out of the bends. 4 up on the rear is great fun

roll on mallory on the 2nd january.

oh urban, its true a track day will give you sooo much confidence. my brother says hes a much better rider after doing rockingham on his road bike. you know the limits more so dont panic if you go a little hot into a corner, you know the bike will go round etc etc....

get it done, you will fooking love it
