Guest Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I am running Dunlop Road smarts on the XJR cost me £195 + fitting for the pair from TST in Risley, had them just over a year and done 4.5k,and there's still plenty of meat left on them, handling wise they are brilliant wet or dry, even last winter riding in -5c they never twitched, before these i had Avon Azaro's which have been replaced with the Avon Storm again a good tyreI'm not the fastest rider out there but have me moments.my mate is a balloon on his and he's using Road smarts too Quote
nman1 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I too have a bandit and I use the Bridgestones 021. I`ve done some serious milage on them as well, previous lot lasted getting on for 8k. They were on the limit when i changed them though. Price wise...about £220 (front and back) fitted and cost of getting rid of old ones. Quote
Colin the Bear Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) Different bikes will run better or worse on the same tyres. Different riders, having different riding styles will also have different opinions of the same tyre, on the same bike. You'd be better asking some one you know, who rides like you, on the same bike. Isn't there a bandit forum somewhere on the net. I bet tyres will be listed in their FAQ section. If in doubt buy round ones Edited November 17, 2009 by Colin the Bear Quote
techno Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 You will probably find that people generally recommend what there running, and as such I run michellin pilot road 2cts never had any probs plenty of grip and pretty decent milage and handle great a little pricy perhaps at 245 a pair tho! Quote

Ash Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I also use Michellin Pilot Road 2's, couldnt reccomend them enough Quote
londonbiker Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Pirelli Angel ST front and backJust had them fitted to my bike about 2 weeks ago. Been riding in crap weather ever since and they haven't skipped a beat. Had them on tight twisties in the Cotswolds, motorways on the way to Birmingham and town riding in London. Can't fault them, but am sure others recommendations may have longer test time on them.Rob Quote
