Guest Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Thought I'd share ....Set about hacking a hole into the fairing with a scalpel and a blow torch. Obviously, i heated the scalpel, then used it to melt the plastic....http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/mysafpics123/Pic083.jpgThen set to it with a dremel and an eye for something round.....http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/mysafpics123/Pic084.jpgAnd hey Presto!! It is wired into a switched supply, straight from the battery so should be accurate enough for my needs. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/mysafpics123/Pic085.jpgNow... what to do next.... Quote

Guest Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Dan, Dan, Dan..... a hole cutter, would've done it in half the time... and why? is this to confirm that sound of nothingness = flat battery...and its not straight. Quote
Guest Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 There was already an oblong hole there... otherwise I would've used a hole cutter! And why not?? Seriously though, running acessories such as grips, vest, fog lights etc Its just nice to see if I am overloading the system or not. And also, it will hopefully give early warning of any battery problems... so nur nur nur.. Quote
