Thought I'd share ....


Set about hacking a hole into the fairing with a scalpel and a blow torch. Obviously, i heated the scalpel, then used it to melt the plastic....

Then set to it with a dremel and an eye for something round.....

And hey Presto!! It is wired into a switched supply, straight from the battery so should be accurate enough for my needs.

Now... what to do next....

Dan, Dan, Dan..... a hole cutter, would've done it in half the time...

and why? is this to confirm that sound of nothingness = flat battery...

There was already an oblong hole there... otherwise I would've used a hole cutter!

Seriously though, running acessories such as grips, vest, fog lights etc Its just nice to see if I am overloading the system or not. And also, it will hopefully give early warning of any battery problems... so nur nur nur..

WF you have tooooo much time on your hands lol

hey, i'm not the one fitting "VoltMeters"


what can i say, i'm between projects, fitted heated grips through the week, and used the relay for the aux lights, took the bike for a run out today.. and the mini moto is waiting on some cash and parts...


...... and my house is tidy, enough for a single bloke...
