Guest Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Hey everyoneWondering if anyone could help me. Like a complete idiot i came of my bike last week, luckily only my right hand indicator was damaged.I've brought another indicator and was going to fit it myself. I was wondering if this is easy to do, and would i have to take the fairing off to do it?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote

Thinking of my SV, i dont think i need to remove the fairings to remove the indicator. simpily remove the screw, disconnect and reconnect the new one! Can't imagine this being much different on the r1 ? Quote
j4ff Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Not quite that easy. Not that ive had to do it but ive just been out to have alook at my 02 R6.It looks like you can get away with removing the two screws on the backing cover and possibly the large black plastic screw under the nose to remove the cover and then you can access the back of the indicator.
