Auxiliary Fuel Tank when balancing carbs??

hi guys

im wanting to balance my carbs and was thinking of using an auxiliary fuel tank but no idea what i can use

don't really want to use my tank incase it falls and gets damaged

what do you guys use in this case?

im thinking radiator overflow bottle?

does it need to have duel feed or single?

bike is a Bandit 600 03 plate.

you can get by using the tank but its a right pain in the azz

if you think of anything post it up with a how too.

find a minimoto tank on ebay.. job done, cost about £8, or a washing up bottle the original fairy liquid style work well, just squeeze the bottle to apply an over pressure, or a funnel fitted to the fuel line and strung under the bars..

Or attach an extra long hose to your tank which you can mount securely nearby.

yep, just connect the fuel pipe and not the vaccum pipe, these dont need a vaccum overpressure as they have a vent in the cap.

have one myself..

I normally just bung a funnel onto the fuel line and fill that with fuel. Works great for me! One of these jobbies from the kitchen usually does the trick, though I normally have to get someone else to hold it steady...

When doing the cockroach I just run a pipe from the fuel pump into a jerry can.

The vtr, I have an old squeezey bottle with piece of wire taped on to it that I hang from the garage roof.
