  2. So, been doing some research on what braided lines to get, found some posts on here and also other forums about people saying CP are licensed under Hel but nothing confirmed or concrete about it. So yesterday i emailed CP and to confirm their response was: They only sell via ebay now: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/cp-racetec/m. ... ksid=p3692 Just thought i would pass this info on, for my Hornet a full set of 2x front race setup and 1x rear £59.99 delivered with lifetime warranty, they will also send a few P clips if asked for free, cant go wrong!
  3. i use paraffin or petrol to clean chains, works fine and alot cheaper than aerosols
  4. thinking of changing my seat cover on my 2006 Hornet anyone know of a place around Manchester that does it? or even just install it? i can grab a cover from ebay but im not very good with things like this, probably make a mess of if i did it myself!. Thanks
  5. thanks for the heads up any ideas which other ones are good for similar price? i was looking at more touring type boots or shall i just get race type ones?
  6. General consensus is, only use a chain if you have a decent ground anchor to chain it too, otherwise they can use he chain to drag the bike a disk alarm may help and definitely a cover As for the chain: http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/ ... 0-131.aspx considered to be the best but not cheap! you may also want to ensure your insurance is changed to "kept off road" over night with no security, best way
  7. Thanks mate. I've had hjc before. So hope it's ok. If not then Sportbikeshop offer free returns so I have no worries.

Thanks
  17. so, im thinking of buying of these brand new, they have 0% finance offer on at the moment whcih makes it sound more appealing. my current bike is a Bandit which i will p/x in for the new bike i wont be using it for the track, and will be used for fair weather rideouts, also fair weather commuting maybe (35mile journey) i know i will have to test ride them but just wanted to know which of the 3 is best? Thanks
  18. try looking at the Veho Muvi pretty good quality too!
  19. thanks mate, i think im gona use other devices too, ordered the cable though, for future reference it is "CAB-02S" to connect the A80 to the starcom. Roadtorque, i though the external aerial was illegal in the UK? where have you mounted it? also if you dont use the external aerial, where would you mount the A80? tank bag? pocket?
  20. have a think mate, £200 is a lot of money to spend on camera imo heres a few to look at: AEE MD80 Original: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AEE-Original-Mini ... 27ad1046ce AEE MD80 Clone: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Micro-DV-HIDDEN-D ... 414c5f4389 Veho Muvi (AEE MD80 Rebranded Original): http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-1022.aspx and the extreme sport pack for it: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Veho-VCC-A001-Ext ... 2c50be397d lots of videos of each on youtube heres a good one of the Veho Muvi from Sven: "> Personally i have just ordered a Veho Muvi from Tesco for local store pickup this evening, for the price vs quality i think its the best, for better quality your looking maybe a GP Pro Hero but imo fot its slightly better performance its not worth the extra money over the Muvi. However if your set on spending £200, then go for the vholdr Contour 720p HD, this thing is awesome, vid: http://www.vholdr.com/contourhd/videos?vid=2 Hope that helps btw, im no camera expert, ive just been doing some research for the last week as im wanting to buy a cam too.
  21. can i use the PTT and headset connected to my radio and have my radio connected to starcom unit? or do i have to buy the PTT and headset that fits directly to the starcom module? (Radio is Wintec A80 and Starcom 1 Intercom)
  22. yep, just connect the fuel pipe and not the vaccum pipe, these dont need a vaccum overpressure as they have a vent in the cap. have one myself.. stunning! thanks mate for the info
