Bike won't start

My bikes been laid up for about 6 weeks and I haven't started it

It needed a new fuel hose which i got today and fitted as the old one split emptying the contents of the tank over the garage floor. Anyway I've put a load of petrol in the tank and now cannot start the bike. It turns over fine but doesn't want to fire

I need some advice as to how to get it started as it has its MOT on Tuesday so need to get it fixed.

well given that you've had the fuel pipe off,

the first thing to do is make sure the petrol is actually getting to the carbs.

Thanks, I check the fuel pipe and that was fine so i tool the airbox off and put a little fuel down the carbs. It fired straight up after that so I left it running for a while and will take it out tomorrow for a run out.
