Sorry for maybe a very easy question but,

Were and what is the best ways to use carb cleaner?

Some people have said spray into airfilter while running, others down the throttle opening? Which is best? And what would be the best way to use it?

(Yes im still trying to sort out the Sticking/Holding revs on my PGO, And now trying carb cleaner) 8-)

Thank you

Yes, check cable. If you have heated grips fitted also check that they're not rubbing on the bar end (like mine did!).

As for carb cleaner - if it's specifically for the air intake, spray it in there, if not...DON'T! You could bollocks up your bike if you put non-air intake cleaner up there. Carb cleaner is potent stuff and WILL melt plastic / rubber parts, so when using it always always always do it in a well ventilated area, wear gloves (marigolds are best because latex ones just melt through!) and remove all non-metallic parts.

...or just buy air-intake carb cleaner and don't bother taking it all apart. Personally I prefer taking it apart. Meh.

SORTED (I hope)

used the Carb cleaner today (Took it to bits) gave it a right blast, and then took it for a rip up the road, MINT! No more holding revs (for now anyways) 8-)

Nice one, good job :thumb:

It's amazing what a good clean of the carbs will do, and syncing them up as well helps. I never realised how much one of my old bikes used to vibrate until I cleaned and synced them then it was as smooth as anything!
